$66,995 delivered, which already includes the $1,995 destination charge. That is the only trim price, because Moab is the only trim.
Both packages together bring it to $69,985 before tax, title and registration. Accessories are separate again: the rock rails are $1,995 fitted and the doors-off mirror kit is $695.

Yes. The $66,995 figure has the $1,995 destination charge inside it, so there is no separate freight line at the desk. Tax, title and registration are additional.
Range and charging
The EPA rates it at 222 miles combined, made up of 250 miles on the city cycle and 196 on the highway (fueleconomy.gov). Jeep publishes its own estimate of up to 230 miles, which is a manufacturer figure rather than a rating.
For most people here, comfortably. Local driving is the city cycle, where the rating is 250 miles rather than 222, and a Level 2 charger at home means the car starts every morning full whatever yesterday looked like.
Some, and the two causes are worth separating: a cold pack simply delivers less, and cabin heat comes out of the same battery rather than out of waste engine heat. Budget below the rating in the coldest weeks. Warming the car on the charger before you unplug is what claws most of it back.
About 6.8 hours from 5 to 80 percent on a 240-volt Level 2 charger, which is an overnight. On a standard 120-volt outlet the same fill takes about 52 hours, so treat that as a top-up rather than a plan.
Half an hour, near enough: 5 to 80 percent takes about 28 minutes, and the first ten minutes are worth roughly 100 miles. On a run north that is lunch.

Quick enough to surprise people: 3.6 seconds to 60 mph in Sport mode, 3.8 in Auto, from 650 horsepower and 620 lb-ft. It runs out at 112 mph.
Equipment
A 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with navigation and off-road trail maps, plus a 12.3-inch digital driver cluster. Jeep describes the centre display as the largest touchscreen area it has put in one of its vehicles.
Jeep counts more than 170 standard and available safety and security features and names Active Driving Assist, Rough Road Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, Active Lane Management, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Drowsy Driver Detection and Intersection Collision Assist among them.
Yes, and no tools are needed. The doors, the rear quarter glass and the swing gate glass all come off. The audio speakers were moved out of the doors and under the seats specifically so the stereo still works with them gone.
A dual-pane sunroof is standard on the Moab, and the Sky One-Touch Power Top is available if you want a fabric roof that retracts at the press of a button.
The one trim
There is one, Moab, so the decision is about options rather than trims. Add the Trailer Tow Group if you tow, and the Comfort Package if the back seat is occupied most days.
Jeep has stated a later trim will reach up to 250 miles of range. It has not been named, priced or specified, so nothing else about it can be compared yet. The Moab is what is buildable and buyable now.
Longer and on a shorter wheelbase: 193.3 inches on 112.9 against the four-door Wrangler's 188.4 on 118.4. It is also considerably heavier, at 6,112 pounds. The Recon and Wrangler comparison puts the two side by side properly.
Up to 3,300 pounds properly equipped with the $995 Trailer Tow Group. Order it with the vehicle; retrofitting towing equipment later costs more. Payload is up to 850 pounds.
It has the hardware for it: full-time four-wheel drive with a Snow mode, a rear locking differential, 33-inch all-terrain tires and 9.1 inches of ground clearance. A motor at each axle also lets torque move front to rear faster than a mechanical system can react.
Ownership
A tire rotation every 5,000 to 7,500 miles and a fluid check every 25,000. There is no engine oil service, no filters, no plugs and no belts on the schedule.
A 3-year or 36,000-mile basic limited warranty, an 8-year or 100,000-mile EV limited battery warranty, and roadside assistance for 8 years or 100,000 miles.
No. The high-voltage pack, the drive modules and the wiring between them are sealed and waterproof, and steel shields sit under the battery. Brakes, fasteners and suspension are exposed exactly as on any vehicle, so underbody washes through the salt season matter either way.
More than 170 standard safety and security features. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, a 360-degree surround-view camera on the 14.5-inch touchscreen and Rough Road Cruise Control are standard on the Moab, and the vehicle also offers Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Intersection Collision Assist, Active Lane Management, Drowsy Driver Detection and ParkSense front and rear park assist. Underneath, a full suite of high-strength steel shields protects the battery from what a rutted road throws at it.

Not strictly, but it is the difference between an easy ownership experience and a managed one. If you have a driveway or a garage, a 240-volt box makes the range question disappear. If you park on the street, be honest about that before you buy and we will talk you through it.
